How did you get into music
Started clarinet lessons at 8 years old. Played in school bands through college. Formed a wedding band (Nite Lighters) in Detroit while in college and played into the 1980's. Played in many musical theater performances as well as community bands/orchestra in Michigan, Texas and Ohio.
Interesting Story about yourself
My first job after graduation was a corrosion engineer with a pipeline company. After a few years I was promoted to a position in Sabine Pass, Texas. There I managed a group of technicians working offshore. We serviced 100 platforms. I spent many hours flying in helicopters supervising the maintenance of corrosion, gas measurement and communication facilities.
Hobbies
Giving private lessons to woodwind students. Nonmusical related hobbies include Hiking, Biking and Kayaking.

Smooth jazz and Classic rock & roll
What did you want to be when you grew up?
An engineer to follow in my dad's footsteps.
